This information is designed to provide clarity on the practical aspects of our sessions with regard to my hours, cost of services, and payment methods. I’m committed to making this journey as straightforward and accommodating as possible, so you can focus on your well-being.

program Outline

Pre-consultation (free 30-minute interview): Initial interview to gauge suitability and answer any questions regarding the process.

Flexible Format: 6-9 hours total package

Individualized Program: A custom-designed therapy plan focusing on your specific goals for lasting change.

Personalized Workbook & Other Forms: The workbook provides an interactive guide tailored to your needs, offering pre-session preparation, in-session activities, and post-session reflection prompts.

Initial Consultation (90-minute session): To identify key challenges (unpleasant beliefs, sensations, emotions, images) and set specific treatment goals.

Client-Centered Processing Sessions (select 3 or 6 hours): To work through the specific targets selected in the initial session.

Follow-Up Interview (90-minute session): To evaluate progress, celebrate positive changes, and provide additional support as needed.

Additional 3-hour sessions: May be added as needed.

6-Hour Package: $1,500

9-Hour Package: $2,250

Additional 3-Hour Package: $750

Payment Methods

Full payment is expected in advance of all EMDR Intensive sessions. The payment for the packages is to be made by IvyPay (credit card processing), cash, or check before the start of the intensive to confirm appointments.

In-Person Sessions:

Cash, IvyPay, or checks made out to Carol Miles MSW, LCSW LLC are accepted for payment.

Cancellation Policy:

Appointments that are not canceled at least two weeks prior will be charged full package fee to the client. Cancellation messages may be left with voice mail at (985) 893-1248, 24/7 hours a day.

PAYMENT PLANS:

IvyPay must be used for payment plans.
A deposit of $500 is required for your appointment dates. This deposit is non-refundable. The remaining balance will be charged to your account 2 weeks before the start of your Intensive Package.

By booking the Intensive Package, you have purchased this time, and it is yours unless you cancel at least 2 weeks before Day 1. If you cancel the EMDR Intensive within 2 weeks of Day 1, you will be charged the total amount of the Intensive Package.

Insurance Reimbursement

If you wish to contact your insurance company to ask what CPT Codes are covered under your policy, you may file with insurance. Be sure to check your out-of-network deductible. Find out the process to seek reimbursement with your company.
