Carol is a practical, solution-focused therapist who provides support and feedback to help clients resolve current problems and long-standing patterns. She utilizes various styles and techniques tailored to each client's needs. With sensitivity and compassion, Carol assists clients in building on their strengths to achieve their life goals. Her expertise in EMDR Therapy helps clients achieve a new, adaptive way of feeling, acting, and being in their world today.
As past Board President of EMDRIA (2019-2020, serving a 2 year term) and the co-founder of the EMDR Regional Meetings in Southeast Louisiana, Carol has brought a higher level of expertise to the region’s ability to effectively address trauma through networking and presentations.
Her Three Rivers Training Center also brings nationally known EMDR Advanced Trainers to Louisiana to present on the intense work associated with addressing anger, dissociation, attachment issues, and other mental health concerns. These trainers help to develop the skills of the therapists in our community and throughout this this region. As an EMDRIA Approved Basic Trainer, Carol works with LSU School of Public Health Center for Evidence to Practice to teach therapists about this exciting, efficient, and effective type of psychotherapy.
